Can we please just recognize how in Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince, Draco cries when he sees that that tiny bird is dead. He realizes that he has killed something and he can’t even bear it. To everyone who says Draco is a terrible person, or that he made the wrong choices, think about it. He had no choice. He had no say in the matter. He was only doing what he did to keep his mother and others whom he loved safe. Draco Malfoy is not a bad person.

This has been said before but Lucius Malfoy spent months legally fighting for a hippogriff to be put down because it scratched his son. If that ain’t love, then I don’t know what love is! He might have been cold towards Draco. He might have had crazy ideals that he passed down to his son. But he loved Draco!
